As we get ever closer to our End Of Season Track Day Event, the Hot Lap Team would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Rahul Dua and to the team of Golo Racing racers and helpers that have committed to making this event a success.

We are also very excited to announce the attendance of JOHN SHARRARD of Accelerated Technologies and "goto" suspension man of Pascal Piccotte and Piccotte Performance Racing. John will be on hand at our event for those who would like to get advice on they're suspension setup and/or, for a small fee, have they're suspension tuned.

*** UPDATE ***

With less than 2 weeks till inaugural Track Day Event, the excitement is growing here @ the Hot Lap Events camp! We're thrilled @ the ever growing interest in our event and with Mother Nature doing more than her share, with record breaking weather, to inspire people to get out for "just one more" Track Day outting, we're ever more confident of an event to put a smile on all participants. Through all the inquiries we've had, there has been one stand out feedback/input given by almost all in regards to riding groups for Oct 6/07. So to stay true to our commitment to LISTEN and PLEASE our present and future participants, we @ Hot Lap Events would like to announce that we will be running a 3 GROUP RIDING FORMAT FOR "THE LAST LAP!" EVENT ON OCT 6/07, instead of the previously announced 4 group format. Many riders, as they rightfully should, would like to see more riding time and we would love to give it to them, so it was simply a logical adjustment to make. We will now be running BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE & EXPERT groupings, eliminating the orginal NOVICE group.

** Please note: For all those already Pre-Registered for the NOVICE Group, you will be asked the day of the event during Registration if your preferrence would be to join either the BEGINNER Group or INTERMETIATE Group for the day. **

Thank you to all who have directly or indirectly contributed in helping us with this decision and we sincerely believe that this will improve the overall riding experience @ our event. I would also like to mention that if there are any questions or concerns from anyone already Pre-Registered for the event in regards to this decision, please do not hesitate to contact me (A.J. One final thing...I would also like to take this opportunity to give a "shout out" and annouce some of the names of racers that will be providing both on and off track help/coaching to all riders, in all groups:

Please keep the calls, emails and registrations coming! I enjoy fielding any & all inquires. I will also be attending the final round of the R.A.C.E. Series this weekend at Shannonville. I will be available all day Sat. and most likely Sun. also for any questions or just to meet and "shoot the breeze" with any of you. Although I'll probably be floating around all day, you'll probably find me in and out of the GoloRacing tent in the Pits.
