Default 2003 R1 Wrecking @ 95MPH - standup wheelie -

This was from this past Sunday's ride around Columbia. It's a clip of our buddy Mitch wrecking his 2003 R1 in a standup wheelie.....doing about 95MPH

After the wreck, Mitch said that it felt like his left foot slipped off the peg. The bike ended up sliding entirely on it's right side, leaving the left side in perfect condition. Turns out that the bolt broke which held his left footpeg on, causing him to wreck. Doesn't that suck...technically it wasn't even his fault, fuckin equipment failure.

Make sure you get a good look at that neon green power ranger lookin fool. That's our dear friend NavigatorRidin19 takin a piss...how 'bout them apples Eli?

Wessinger03R6 is the guy that was right in front of Mitch when we wrecked...nice wheelie Dave

If that's not a good add for full leather, I don't know what is.

Mitch is fine. He didn't get a single scratch on him, but he did get a small burn on his left elbow from where the leather heated up so much it burnt his skin. It was bleeding and oozing slowly for the rest of the night. Other than that he's fine. Damn, I love that leather. haha

OUCH! That looks painful! I'm glad Mitch didn't get hurt too badly, but how is the bike? Post some pics if you have any.

Huh, anything we can do to prevent the bolt breakage. It seems wierd it broke at that point past when he jumped on it.
