Default Uh oh.. its starting to get cold..

A little bit colder than I thought the other morning. Rear end slid out from under me on my way to work .
Could be a whole lot worse, and actually I'm very surprised at how cheap painted OEM fairings are from the dealer. I'm looking at 600 bucks to replace my lower fairing, the entire tail fairing, foot peg, and a handle bar!
to the dealers for keeping this stuff so low.

The fairings are barely scratched at all, I had some sliders on it. I'm a stickler for paint being perfect, so i'll be selling the RH lower fairing and an entire tail fairing if anyone is interested, fairly cheap.

Bike color / year / model would help

I really hate to break it to you man, but that's not really all that cheap. I could buy an entire set of race bodywork for that. Nice stuff, too.

Still, guess it's cheaper than the equivalent damage in a car...

600 for a footpeg, handle bar, tail, and a lower fairing? what are you smoking thinking that is a good deal?

I suppose you have a 06? www.mrcycles.com
lists,
$150 for a lower
$17 for the left side peg, $47 for the right side peg
$121 for a tail.
$65 for a handlebar
where do they come up with an extra $217?

That's what I'm sayin'. Unless they threw in a new set of tires with the deal...

yeah it's always a good idea to check with other owners. I find the dealers don't know jack shit about any one specific type of vehicle. like the owners do.
and they sure the hell aren't going to point you to the best priced places.
