Default 1st spill

been riding for about 3 months...i was pulling up to a red light and i was only going about 15mph and i hit the front break too hard...did an endo and then went over 2 the side, bike fell on my right knee, it hurts pretty bad but i don't think anything is broken. Some people saw and helped me off to the side of the rode and within 2 minutes about 5 cop cars showed up...it was pretty embarrassing....cracked the oil cooler and leaked all over the street, also snapped the front break lever... had to walk it home about 3.5 miles with my bummed knee. could have been alot worse...

A stoppie from 15mph? I dont' know... you'd have to be going downhill or something.

I think your bike must have been going a good deal faster than that to do a stoppie. sorry about your fall, though.

Next time get a smaller bike as a first bike.

Maybe it's all those years of riding a regular bike, but the R6 is my first as well, 70 miles total in my whole life and I don't find myself making some of these mistakes. My advice is you really have to be one with the bike. Smooth is Fast! @ 15 to do an endo, you would have had to stick a pole int he front wheel.
