Default Yep, so... went down today.

Not much else to say. Right at the bottom of Latigo, wasn't even riding hard yet. Just begun to warm up and I whipped around a corner hit some sand, felt the ass end slide, tried to correct, then the front hit the sand and I was sliding behind the bike. Bike hit the guard rail and I slid about 30 feet past it on the road. Picked my ass up, and to tell you the truth the first feeling I had was anger at myself for letting it happen... complete with throwing my gloves at my bike before I picked it up. Followed by a big sense of relief. Luckily, Jono(thats me), gear, and bike are all in good shape. Minor cosmetic damage to the bike, windshield, front stay, couple other plastic pieces. Leathers held up well and other than a sore shoulder I feel pretty good. I'm kinda glad it happened, got that first one out of the way. Pictures to follow.

Sorry to hear that. Atleast you and the bike are healthy for the most part.

Yeah, let it sit there for about 15 minutes while i walked around it to make sure everything looked legit. I must have looked like quite the rider on my way home. Broken windshield. Front fairing flopping in the breeze. Going 25mph. A couple pieces of brush still stuck in the swingarm. But other than that no worse for wear. Shoulder's a little sore now that its been a few hours.

Actually I think this event was the, hey it's time to go by that daytona 675 you've been thinking about, type of deals. But either option is gonna be awesome.
