Default How long does it take to drop/crash your new bike?

5 days after bringing my 6 home - my friend tipped it in front of my house. I was heartbroken, but shit happens.

Yep, know how you feel, heartbroken too those first few times. Now when I get a new bike I am thankful for not yet crashing it, and most importantly, not getting seriously hurt. Good friend lost his life on Aug 6th, early morning, in Fontana CA, on his R6. Sort of puts it in perspective.

Turfed it a year and a half after buying it.

Right in front of Transamman1999 (Nick) too, so yeah it sucked.

I had mine for exactly two weeks when I gently laid it down pulling out of a parking lot. Turned to hard. Did one of those "hop to the side and try to catch it before it hits" kind of things. It touched, picked it right back up. I was pissed. Then about 2 weeks after that I had my real crash. I was extra pissed. Setting a good track record.

The next time I am getting a new bike. I am going to dump it down on the front lawn when I get it home, just to get it out of the way.
