Default Who's fault is this?

I got this from another forum and was just curious as to what people on the MN thought. I have never done a track day so I don't know about track etiquitte. I also don't know how to post just the vid so here is a link to the other thread.

from my understanding it would be the dude on the 6 ... he is passing on the inside which from my understanding is sometimes considered impolite

but it also depends on who had the turn first .. if the motard was there first , the r6 should have yielded some .. if the r6 was there ffirst then its yellows fault

R6 fault.
He should be bitchslapped for his shitty riding position and should have had way more speed than that tard in the corner.
He looks like he is sitting straight up, not even close to hanging off that bike, putting way to much weight on the front. I dont see any contact before the r6 looses the front, like they are saying on that other site. He lost the front and took out the tard.......

That's a tough call... I'd have to see more pictures. There's a video on there somewhere?

upon reading the other thread they make a valid point on track etiquette on how motards have to go Out to In so it is a tough call

^ No - the R6 didn't have the inside line, he ran it hot in there.

If you are going to pass on the inside you better have the line... the R6 lost the front end on his own (at least that's what I see) but if I go to the inside of someone is because I have or will pass them before the apex (before he starts to turn in)

Why put yourself in that situation, passing on the inside means you better keep it on two wheels or you are taking someone out, so if you are going to attempt an inside pass - you better have that line and stick it.

Feel sorry for both, hope it helps others though.

I have a really different take on this one: it's a racing accident. Nobody is at fault.

If I was the guy on the 'tard, I probably would feel differently, but at the end of the day, I try and look at it this way: I choose to go out on the track with a bunch of people of varying ability, and when I make that choice I assume the risk that one of them could take me out. They also assume the same about me.
