Default this is a funny story...

so i'm pretty anal when it comes to my bike, arent we all? well there's this chick i've been dating for a while now and she's been really really wanting to learn how to ride it just for a little bit, like parking lot stuff. i'm like "it's really really dangerous, u gotta wear every piece of gear and u'll sweat ur ass off, and it's extremely difficult to control" now mind u she's about 5'6", very short, she can barely hold the bike up herself.

well i'm a very carefree person, and was like "fuck, well if she drops it it's not going to be fast and it's like $400 to replace the fairing(s)/turn signals etc at most" and i like to make people happy and let them try new things, so i let her get on it and try at my expense, no big deal, i know that i'm a priviledged person and i'm not to greedy when it comes to my things.

i knew she would drop it from the start. she barely knows how to drive a manual car, and i just know almost all women have the same instinct, which is when shit's happening, "let go". well the thing she let go of when she freaked out was, yes, you guessed it, the clutch dumped that sucker. well i played it smart, i pointed her before she even got on the bike towards a nice grassy spot cause i knew she'd not be able to turn it and freak out just like she did but i said fuck it. so sure enough she went right into the grass off the lot and tipped it over. there was no damage to the bike, just some mud and a broken stock front turn signal which i'm replacing anyways with flushies. i couldnt help but laughing and she was freaking the fuck out and apologizing non-stop which made it even funnier.

maybe u had to be there to find this funny, but now she never wants to ride it again, go figure lol. she likes riding 2-up just fine

edit: btw i'm not whipped, i'm getting my "payment" just fine

that's awesome. way to be a good sport about the whole thing. it's great to be able to introduce someone to something new (even if they're never going to do it again).

That's hella funny!
I kinda laughed at one of my g/f when her boyfriend and I tried to teach her to ride my 80.

She was doing well... but then did a huge wheelie right into the fence! No injuries/damage... but it was funny as hell!

Yeah! 5'6 isn't short! I'm 5'3!

Oh yeah... I wanted to mention - that was super way cool of you to "donate" your bike like that...
