For those who may remember, this used to be vahyper6's bike. Since taking delivery last year I've reconsidered what I intended to do with it over the summer and am looking more seriously at going racing in the WSMC (possibly 2009 WERA) 250 Ninja spec class. So, I'm making room for the new little one. I'm looking to get $5000, and in the bike's current condition it's more than worth it! I think I've changed the oil around 3 times, each with Motul oil and a K&N filter.

Specs are as such:

2003 Yamaha R6
Approx. 18k miles

Go fast:

STOMP tank pads
Scott's steering damper
R1 USD front end (2001) with R6 Radial caliper/rotor/master cyl. conversion, valved by Bazzaz performance.
Galfer stainless lines front/rear w/independent front lines
ATE Super Blue brake fluid
PCIII USB
Yoshimura full TRC exhaust with aluminum canister
BMC Race air filter
520 RK chain conversion with AFAM aluminum rear sprocket, -1 tooth in front.
Fresh NGK plugs and Yamaha ignition coils.

Look good:
Yoshimura frame sliders
Fuel Moto rearsets w/ gp shift (ball bearing type)
CRG full length, adjustable levers
Zero Gravity double bubble dark windscreen
Hotbodies undertail
Flush mount LED signals
Libertek flash adjuster
Rear wave rotor
GYTR carbon shark guard
Carbon fiber heel guards

The bike's very stable, with the tuning that's been done it's been very quick at the tracks I've taken it to (1:46 at Fontana, low 1:40s/high 1:39s at Big Willow, low 1:30s at Streets of Willow). It's got more to go but I'm putting a hold on it since I want a bike that's a bit more affordable to run and is better on gas as a daily rider.

The bad parts? I think the main thing the bike needs is to first attempt changing the front fork oil and seeing if that improves the rebound response. If not that, then have the front fork revalved with more rebound. Since the bike had been sitting for around 2 years prior to me taking delivery I figure the fork oil needs to be changed. Otherwise, compression is fine and I didn't top out the springs (fully geared I weigh in around 160lbs). It took a bit of tuning and experimenting, but in spite of the rebound the bike is very stable and flickable.

The bike is currently running a 'web map' that fits the mods I'm running for the PC3, but could certainly do with a real tune with a sniffer. I think that would help smooth the bike out even more than it already is.

I plan to take some more shortly, but these pictures are the most current: http://gallery.mac.com/darionscard#1...lack&view=grid

The pictures are before the undertail and Scotts damper.
