According to Rossi, it means:

"'The Chihuahua Tribe'. The Chihuahua were a tribe of North American Indians, and our gang of friends is called the 'Tribu dei Chihuahua!'"

Found that in a Roadracing World interview with the good doctor

here's a link

Just to get some facts into the picture, there are no "Chihuahua indians", there are several indian tribes on Chihuahua state (MEXICO), but none of them are called "Chihuahua", the most representative are the Tarahumara tribe, which are famous and legendary for their marathonic races.

Maybe something got lost in translation ???

Some facts on the indian tribes from Chihuahua.

What he ^ said. It's his group of childhood friends. Actually in some of his post race interviews when he speaks in Italian he sends a "shout out" to La Tribu.
Of course, you'll never see this on SPEED.

My fave is the "WLF" on the neck tag of his leathers. It stands for "Viva la figa" which is Italian street slang for "Go the pussy".

its unreal how you people take what cops do personally and are unable to separate their job from them as people. Its almost like you think they are after you personally and have no other reason to give you some "b.s. ticket"

I see no other reason...
