I think you're talking about the starter. Im talking about the "STATOR" in my post. The stator are the coils behind the stator cover that recharge the battery while riding. Because the stator puts out different voltages dependent on engine RPM, the Regulator/Rectifier does that just, regulates the voltage it sent FROM the stator, to the battery
