Yeah a bit of a funny change in bikes to the r1, though i feel the r1 is easier to ride than the r6. I dont know why that is though i only rode the r6 up and down the street a few times so that might be why lol. The r1 is not restricted as its going to cost me a fortune to get it done, i have had to spend a lot of money on security for the bike as ive had 2 mountain bikes stolen in the last 2 years from my shed. I will get it done though if funds permit.

The bike came with what looked like rust on the cans but ive been told its caked on chainlube thats hardened. I friend told me that the cans are made of titanium and dont rust. What should i use to get it off? Ive tried wd40, fuchs off even tinfoil (which just seemed to smear it about) but with no real success. Someone told me to try wonder wheels for alloys but i dont want to harm the cans.
