i have a 2000 r6 and all has been fine until today. normally when i stop and pop it into neutral i can feel it click into place. today when i stopped there was no click and it felt as if there was no resistance when i change to either first or second. when idling it can put itself into first and stall or go from first to neutral without any input from me.

any help as to what is wrong or how to fix it would be greatly appeciated.
