Default 03 R6 tyre question

I have standard D208's from factory fitted at present and they are both well worn. I am about to do my first track day in a few weeks at Eastern Creek and I want to replace them both b4 I go. Any recommendations guys, Also I have heard the 60 section front fitted standard really holds the bike back in handling. Do you recommend moving up to the 70 section for the front and if so what do I need to modify to accomodate the larger tyre. I have never had a problem with the back end of the bike, but the front seems a bit nervous at times. Could just be me, Any help would be greatly appreciated.
