You should have changed your oil as a matter of course, incase any shaved metal or debris got into the engine.
As it stands you have no idea how much oil is in the engine and that is a BAD thing.
If I were you I wouldn't even turn the engine over. I would change the oil and filter and pray that no damage has been done.
